Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Ari, including our website, application, AI tools, planner features, recommendations, and related services. By creating an account or using Ari, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Ari And The Seller
The Service described in these Terms is provided and sold by Ari, the registered business name of the seller ("Ari", "we", "us", or "our"). When you create an account or purchase a subscription, you are contracting with Ari as the seller. Full registered business address and any additional entity registration details are available on request by emailing support@ariai.xyz. Ari is an AI-powered educational planning tool designed to help students organize university planning, extracurricular planning, academic preparation, essays, activities, and related next steps. Ari may provide recommendations for universities, courses, competitions, scholarships, programs, extracurricular activities, test preparation resources, and other opportunities. These recommendations are generated using AI and may be based on information you provide.
2. Ari Is An AI Tool, Not A Professional Advisor
Ari is not a professional college counselor, school counselor, admissions consultant, lawyer, immigration advisor, visa advisor, financial advisor, mental health professional, or other licensed professional. Any information, recommendation, checklist, evaluation, score, plan, or response generated by Ari is provided for general educational planning support only. Ari may produce information that is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, irrelevant, or unsuitable for your personal circumstances. Students should independently verify all information and are encouraged to seek second opinions from parents, guardians, school counselors, professional college counselors, admissions advisors, or other qualified professionals before making important academic, financial, immigration, or career decisions.
3. No Guarantee Of Outcomes
Ari does not guarantee admission to any university, college, school, program, scholarship, competition, internship, activity, award, or opportunity. Ari also does not guarantee improved grades, test scores, rankings, essays, applications, or outcomes.
4. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping login credentials secure, reviewing Ari's outputs before relying on them, and using the Service only for lawful educational planning purposes. Users should not upload unnecessary sensitive information or submit information about other people without permission.
5. Minors And Student Users
If you are under the age of majority in your country or state, you should use Ari only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Ari is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without required consent, we may delete the account and related information.
6. Data Storage And Third-Party Infrastructure
Ari is built using third-party technology providers. User accounts, planner inputs, saved activities, profile information, and other Service data may be stored, processed, transmitted, or supported through these third-party providers. By using Ari, you understand that your use of the Service may involve third-party infrastructure and service providers. Their own terms, privacy policies, and security practices may apply.
7. Access To User Data
We do not routinely access or manually review user planner data for ordinary business purposes. However, we may access limited user data when reasonably necessary to provide customer support, debug technical issues, maintain or improve the Service, investigate abuse or security issues, comply with legal obligations, protect users or the Service, or act with your consent.
8. Security And Data Risk
We use reasonable measures designed to protect the Service and user data. However, no online service, database, AI system, or third-party infrastructure provider can guarantee absolute security. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ari, its founders, operators, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not responsible for unauthorized access, data loss, data theft, service interruption, or security incidents caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party provider failures, user credential compromise, malicious attacks, internet outages, or user misuse. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
9. Third-Party Links And Opportunities
Ari may link to or recommend third-party websites, programs, competitions, universities, courses, scholarships, tools, or resources. We do not own or control third-party websites or opportunities. We are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, deadlines, fees, eligibility criteria, application decisions, privacy practices, terms, safety, or suitability.
10. AI Output And User Content
You may submit information, text, documents, activity details, goals, academic interests, university preferences, or other content to Ari. Ari may generate AI output based on your content. AI output may be similar or identical to output generated for other users, especially where users ask similar questions or have similar profiles. You should not treat AI output as uniquely reviewed, professionally verified, or guaranteed.
11. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Ari to break the law, submit false or harmful content, harass others, upload malware, attempt to access another user's account or data, reverse engineer the Service, or use Ari as a substitute for professional legal, immigration, medical, financial, or safety advice.
12. Subscriptions And Ari Pro
Ari Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks premium features, including expanded Application Planner access and evaluations, expanded Essay Hub access, and increased Ask Ari message limits. Pricing is shown before purchase. Unless otherwise stated, Ari Pro is billed at $10 USD per month. Free accounts may continue to use the free portions of Ari subject to the limits described in the app.
13. Automatic Renewal
By purchasing Ari Pro, you authorize Ari or its payment processor to charge your selected payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Your subscription will renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel before the next renewal date. You can review renewal terms in your account or processor customer portal where available.
14. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing or account tools inside Ari, or through the payment processor's customer portal when that option is available. After cancellation, Pro access remains active until the end of the current paid billing period. Once that period ends, your account returns to the Free tier unless you resubscribe.
15. Payments, Billing, And Refunds
Ari is the seller of Ari Pro subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Ari handles customer service inquiries, cancellations, and refunds. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the refund terms described on our Refund & Cancellation page and by Stripe's terms where applicable. 16. Free Usage Limits
Ari may offer limited free access to features such as Application Planner evaluations, Essay Hub generations, and Ask Ari messages. Free limits may reset monthly, be one-time only, or change over time. Ari may enforce these limits through account-level usage tracking. Reaching a free limit may pause access to that feature until the limit resets or until you upgrade to Ari Pro.
17. Credits
Ari may later offer optional paid credits for specific features. Credits may have their own usage limits, expiration rules, and refund rules, which will be shown at the time of purchase. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable unless Ari explicitly allows it.
18. Plan Changes
Ari may change subscription features, prices, free usage limits, or credit rules in the future. Where required by law, material changes to paid subscription pricing or renewal terms will be communicated to affected users before they take effect.
19. No Guaranteed Outcomes
Ari provides educational, planning, and writing guidance, including recommendations generated by AI. Ari does not guarantee admission to any university, scholarship, internship, program, job, or other outcome. Users remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated output, verifying information, and making their own decisions.
20. Account Suspension Or Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Ari if you violate these Terms, create legal/security/operational risk, or if we are required to do so by law.
21. Service Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of Ari at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
22. Intellectual Property
Ari, including its design, branding, software, workflows, prompts, text, graphics, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to Ari, except for third-party materials. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit Ari without written permission.
23. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ari, its founders, operators, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost opportunities, missed deadlines, rejected applications, lost scholarships, lost data, reliance on AI-generated output, third-party provider failures, or security incidents outside our reasonable control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to use Ari in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100 if you did not pay for the Service.
24. Disclaimer Of Warranties
Ari is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability.
25. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Your continued use of Ari after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
26. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Ari's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
